Music For The Human Condition:

This project, which I shall refer to as A Rush of Air, is primarily to be an examination of my day to day evolution. I shall present my findings in the form of singular strains of composition and on a daily continuum.

I must not begin before waking and I must post by 8:00 AM, every morning. The selection may be of any length necessary/possible but must be considered a completed work, upon posting. I will also provide as detailed an explanation as possible on the sources of inspiration found for each piece.

Them's the rules.

Missed a few days? Here's what I've been up to.

Root and Sway

This time, I'm for real.

A Rush of Air - Root and Sway

I'm so tired, though... I can't really give you an explanation. I will say, however, that I envisioned more for this piece than I ended up with. But them's the breaks... I've basically just committed to accomplishing something, for once. Perhaps, one day, I'll get around to that second guitar part, that organ and that bass line. Someday.

Vocals are rough, but I had fun with them. Hope you will, too.

:)

Is this thing on?

I'm doing my best to keep meeting that daily goal, but it always helps to know that people are listening. C'mon... I need the pressure.

You're passed out on your couch... I don't blame you.

I want you to know that I'm very Proud of you (proud was capitalized for a reason)e you

I like the song, but i like that you did what you said you would do even more and finished what you started, you can hold onto that. I love you.

I havent actually heard you sing in a very long time, and it was incredible. The words were interesting and music flowed well. I wish you could have seen me b/c I was multitasking as I was listening for about 5 seconds, then stopped, because I just wanted to be still and listen to every facet. How about that? Your music was so good I was incapable of doing anything else b/c it was just that appealing....what do you know?
